Superman

Feel like superman without even getting off the floor! It sounds like an easy ride, but this exercise will strengthen both the back muscles and the much-talked-about serratus anterior – key elements of a true Superman-style physique.

How to train

  • Lie on your stomach
  • Arms should be outstretched in front of you
  • Lower back should be slightly hollow
B
  • Raise arms and legs at the same time
  • Raise head along with arms
  • Knees should not be touching the floor
  • Feet should be pointed

What to look out for

  • Hold the raised position for one second
  • Buttocks should be tensed
  • Movement should be performed in a slow, controlled fashion
