Leg Raise

Let’s lift together and get fit: with this exercise, you lie on the floor and move your legs up and down to train your lower abdominal muscles. Combine with crunches, windscreen wipers and planks for the perfect washboard stomach.

How to train

A
  • Lie flat on the floor
  • Arms close to the body
  • Legs close to one another
B
  • Raise legs to form a right angle with the floor
  • Keep legs outstretched for the duration of the exercise

What to look out for

  • Do not raise legs further than ninety degrees
  • Feet and legs should not touch the floor between repetitions
  • Hands can be placed under the buttocks to relax the lower back
